Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 30 minutes

Servings: 4

Ingredients

For the Cheesesteak

  • 1½ lbs shaved steak

  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped

  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1 tbsp Igotchu Seasonings Burger/Philly

  • 1 tsp Igotchu Seasonings Garlic Lovers

  • 1 tsp Igotchu Seasonings Onion Lovers

  • 8 slices provolone cheese

For the Rolls

  • 4 Philly rolls or hoagie rolls

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise, or as desired

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Peppers & Onions

Preheat the griddle to medium-high heat and add a little vegetable oil. Add the green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and onion. Cook for 5–7 minutes, tossing occasionally, until softened and lightly browned.

Step 2: Cook the Steak

Move the vegetables to one side of the griddle. Add a little more oil and place the shaved steak on the hot griddle. Season with Igotchu Burger/Philly, Garlic Lovers, and Onion Lovers. Cook for 3–5 minutes, chopping and turning the steak as it cooks.

Step 3: Combine & Add the Cheese

Mix the cooked peppers and onions into the steak. Divide the mixture into 4 portions and place 2 slices of provolone over each portion. Let the cheese melt directly over the hot steak.

Step 4: Toast the Rolls

Brush the cut sides of the Philly rolls with melted butter and place them cut-side down on the griddle. Toast for 1–2 minutes, until warm and golden.

Step 5: Assemble

Spread mayonnaise inside each toasted roll. Scoop a cheesy portion of steak, peppers, and onions directly from the griddle into each roll. Serve hot.

Igotchu Tip

For that true griddle-style finish, place the opened roll directly over the cheesy steak mixture for a few seconds, then use your spatula to scoop and flip the entire cheesesteak right into the roll. 🔥🥩🧀
