Ingredients

  • ½ cup Igotchu Fried Coating Mix

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 1 teaspoon Igotchu Seasonings No Salt All Purpose

  • 1 teaspoon Igotchu Seasonings Onion Garlic Sea Salt

  • 1 teaspoon Igotchu Seasonings Onion Lovers

For the Sticky Honey Garlic Sauce

  • 5 cloves garlic, minced

  • ¼ cup honey

  • 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce

  • 1 tablespoon sriracha, optional

  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

Step 1: Season and lightly coat the Shrimp

Pat the shrimp dry and season with Igotchu No Salt All Purpose, Onion Garlic Sea Salt, and Onion Lovers.

Add the Igotchu Fried Coating Mix and lightly toss the shrimp until they have a thin, even coating. Shake off any excess.

Step 2: Sear the Shrimp

Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the lightly coated shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side, until golden and lightly crispy.

Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside while you prepare the sticky honey garlic sauce.

Step 3: Make the Sticky Honey Garlic Sauce

In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.

Stir in the honey, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, sriracha, and red pepper flakes.

Mix the cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water, then stir it into the sauce. Simmer until the sauce becomes thick and glossy.

Step 4: Coat the Shrimp

Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss until completely coated in the sticky honey garlic sauce.

Cook for another 1–2 minutes, just until the shrimp are cooked through and the glaze clings beautifully to them.

Step 5: Garnish & Serve

Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Enjoy over steamed rice, noodles, or with roasted vegetables on the side.

Igotchu Tip

Keep an eye on your shrimp—they cook quickly! Remove them after the initial sear and add them back only long enough to finish cooking in that delicious sticky glaze. This keeps them juicy and tender instead of overcooked. 🍤🍯🧄
