Ingredients

Pepper Steak

  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Igotchu Garlic Lovers Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Igotchu Spicy Onion Garlic Pepper Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Igotchu No Salt Greens Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Igotchu Everything Bagel Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • ½ cup fresh green beans
  • ½ cup diced carrots
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • ½ cup beef broth

Egg Fried Rice

  • 3 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • ½ cup peas
  • ½ cup diced carrots
  • 1 teaspoon Igotchu No Salt Greens Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Igotchu Garlic Lovers Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the sliced steak with the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, cornstarch, minced ginger, Igotchu Garlic Lovers Seasoning, and Igotchu Spicy Onion Garlic Pepper Seasoning. Toss well to coat and let marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Scramble the beaten eggs until just cooked. Add the cooked rice, peas, carrots, soy sauce, Igotchu No Salt Greens Seasoning, and Igotchu Garlic Lovers Seasoning. Stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until the rice is heated through and lightly toasted. Transfer to a serving bowl and keep warm.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in the same wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak and cook for 3–4 minutes until browned. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.
  4. Add the onions, bell peppers, green beans, and carrots to the wok. Sprinkle with the Igotchu No Salt Greens Seasoning and Igotchu Everything Bagel Seasoning. Stir-fry for about 4 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
  5. Return the steak to the wok and pour in the beef broth. Stir everything together and cook for another 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the steak and vegetables.
  6. Serve the Pepper Steak Stir-Fry over or alongside the Egg Fried Rice. Garnish with sliced green onions or sesame seeds, if desired.

Tips

  • Flank steak, sirloin, or ribeye all work well for this recipe.
  • Slice the steak against the grain for the most tender bites.
  • Add mushrooms, broccoli, snow peas, or snap peas for even more vegetables.
  • For extra heat, stir in crushed red pepper flakes or a drizzle of sriracha.
  • Leftovers store well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat beautifully for an easy lunch or dinner.
