Ingredients
For the Philly Cheese Steak Filling
-
1 pound lean ground beef or thinly sliced steak
-
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
-
½ medium onion, thinly sliced
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
-
1 tablespoon Igotchu Seasonings Burger Philly
-
1 teaspoon Igotchu Seasonings Garlic Lovers
-
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
-
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
-
1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
For the Roll Ups
-
4 large flour or low-carb tortillas
-
Butter or olive oil, as needed for cooking
Instructions
Step 1: Sauté the Peppers & Onions
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the sliced bell pepper and onion and sauté for 4–5 minutes, until softened and lightly caramelized.
Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Beef
Add the ground beef or thinly sliced steak to the same skillet and cook until browned and cooked through.
Season with Igotchu Seasonings Burger Philly and Garlic Lovers.
Add the Worcestershire sauce and stir well.
Return the peppers and onions to the skillet, add the fresh parsley, and toss everything together. Remove from the heat.
Step 3: Assemble the Roll Ups
Lay a tortilla flat and sprinkle shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese down the center.
Spoon the Philly cheese steak filling over the cheese and add a little extra cheese on top.
Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then tightly roll it up like a burrito to keep the filling inside.
Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
Step 4: Cook the Roll Ups
Lightly butter or oil a skillet and heat over medium heat.
Place the roll ups seam-side down in the skillet.
Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, turning as needed, until the tortillas are golden and crispy and the cheese inside is melted.
Step 5: Serve
Allow the roll ups to rest for 1–2 minutes, then slice them in half or serve whole.
Serve warm with ranch, garlic aioli, spicy mayo, cheese sauce, or your favorite dipping sauce.
Igotchu Tip
Don't overfill your tortillas! Leaving a little room around the edges makes the Philly Cheese Steak Roll Ups easier to roll and keeps all that cheesy, beefy goodness tucked inside. For extra cheesy roll ups, combine provolone and mozzarella for the perfect melty finish! 🥩🧀🫑
