Total Time: 55 minutes
Yield: 1 loaf (8–10 slices)
Ingredients
-
3 ripe bananas, mashed
-
½ cup brown sugar
-
⅓ cup vegetable oil
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
1½ cups all-purpose flour
-
2 teaspoons baking powder
-
½ teaspoon baking soda
-
¼ teaspoon salt
-
2 teaspoons Igotchu Seasonings Peach Cobbler
Optional Topping
-
1 tablespoon brown sugar
-
½ teaspoon Igotchu Seasonings Peach Cobbler
How to Make It
1. Prepare the Batter
Preheat your oven to 425°F and grease or line a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Stir in the brown sugar, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and Igotchu Seasonings Peach Cobbler until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture just until combined. Avoid overmixing to keep your banana bread light and fluffy.
2. Fill the Pan
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. If desired, sprinkle with the optional brown sugar and a little extra Igotchu Seasonings Peach Cobbler for a delicious caramelized crust.
3. Bake
Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes. Without opening the oven, reduce the temperature to 350°F and continue baking for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
This two-temperature baking method creates the perfect bakery-style loaf with a beautiful rise, golden crust, and incredibly soft, fluffy center every time.
4. Cool & Serve
Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy warm or completely cooled.
