Apple Cobbler
2 Refrigerated Pie Crusts
6 Medium Golden Delicious Apples peeled and sliced thin
3 T Butter
1 C Apple Juice
1/3 C Brown Sugar
1 T Cornstarch
1 T Fresh Lemon Juice
½ tsp Vanilla Extract
2 tsp Igotchu Peach Cobbler Seasoning
Crumb Topping
1 C Old Fashioned Oats
1/2 C Brown sugar
¾ C All-Purpose Flour
1 tsp Igotchu Igotchu Peach Cobbler Seasoning
½ C Cold Butter cut into ¼ inch pieces
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Set out and let 2 refrigerated pie crusts out to thaw for 15 minutes. Place peeled and sliced apples in medium sauce pan with butter, Stir and sauté for a 5 minutes over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, corn starch and apple juice slowly and bring to simmer for 5 minutes until smooth and thickened. Add lemon juice, Vanilla extract, and Igotchu peach cobbler seasoning while stirring. Place to refrigerated pie shells in bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Pour apple mixture over crust evenly. In medium bowl mix old fashioned oats, brown sugar, flour. Stir with fork to combine all evenly. Put butter pieces in bowl and cut in with fork until crumbly. Top cobbler with crumb topping. Place dish in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes until bubbly and browned.
