- 6 slices bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- ¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced
- Extra crumbled blue cheese
- Fresh chives or parsley, chopped, for garnish
How to Make It
1. Make the Blue Cheese Dressing
In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, lemon juice, Igotchu Garlic Lovers, Himalayan Salt & Pepper, and No Salt Greens until smooth. Fold in the crumbled blue cheese and refrigerate while you prepare the salad. This creamy homemade dressing makes the perfect steakhouse-style wedge salad, easy salad recipe, and crowd favorite.
2. Prepare the Toppings
Cook the bacon until crispy, then crumble into bite-sized pieces. Slice the cherry tomatoes in half and thinly slice the red onion.
3. Prepare the Lettuce
Remove any wilted outer leaves from the iceberg lettuce. Cut the head into four wedges, leaving the core intact so each wedge stays together. Pat dry for the crispiest salad.
4. Assemble the Salad
Place each lettuce wedge onto a serving plate. Spoon or drizzle the creamy blue cheese dressing generously over the top. Sprinkle with crispy bacon, cherry tomatoes, sliced red onion, extra crumbled blue cheese, and fresh chives or parsley.
5. Serve & Enjoy
Serve immediately as a refreshing side dish with grilled steak, burgers, chicken, or seafood. This easy wedge salad is fresh, creamy, crunchy, and loaded with flavor in every bite.
